Prohibition Agent Woodward Shot During Raid
Mrs George P Kerris of this city says her son Woodward the federal prohibition agent formerly of Winchester was shot in the chest during a raid at 1819 West Lexington Street Baltimore early Wednesday morning. He was treated at Franklin Square Hospital and moved to his home at 1200 North Charles Street. Doctors expect a recovery though the bullet remains in the heart muscles. The shooter Benjamin Bart led the informers crowd and was arrested with others.
