Reuben Plair, a colored migratory worker from Leesburg Florida, 48, is held for action of the Corporation Court grand jury after being charged with knifing another worker at a fruit growers camp on Fairmont Avenue extended. He has also been fined 100 dollars and sentenced to 30 days in jail for selling whiskey. John Davis of Fort Pierce testified he bought a whiskey drink for 50 cents and was charged 75 cents for a second drink this led to a fight in which Davis was slashed in the back, head and throat.
