Auto Crash Toll Rises With Martinsburg Pike Wreck
Several auto mishaps over the weekend left four injured when a car struck a pole on the Martinsburg pike. Dorothy House of Middle Town Maryland and others sustained lacerations and head injuries. A horse was struck near National and Berryville avenues, breaking its leg and being destroyed. A separate crash west of the city involved Mrs Mary Miller and Glenn Hummer’s car with minor injuries. Two others were summoned for a hearing after Route 50 collision. In Warren county a Lyon car overturned near Nineveh injuring occupants while Victor Miller is held at Front Royal.
