Veteran Confederate Soldier Chas W Thompson Dies in Front Royal
Charles W Thompson 87 native of Winchester and longtime Front Royal resident died after brief illness at his home. He served in Marian Rifles and Confederate army, survived by five daughters and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral in Front Royal at 3 pm Tuesday with six grandsons as pallbearers. Interment at Front Royal.
