Purcell Sustains Injuries In Pike Auto Collision
Mrs. Samuel B. Purcell of Brucetown Frederick county was injured when her automobile collided with another car on the Pike while returning from Locksley Hall Clarke county. She was thrown from the vehicle and suffered head injuries cuts bruises and severe nervous shock. Her son Dulaney Purcell was not hurt and aided her at the scene.

Engineer Killed When a M. P. Flier Jumps the Track
The Missouri Pacific Sunshine Special from New Orleans to St. Louis derailed near McGehee Arkansas after rail fastenings were moved and spikes pulled investigators said. Miss Morris Engaged To Harrisonburg Man Die in Auto Crash
