Sparse Attendance for Demo Delegate Selection
Delegates from Frederick County and Winchester met with sparse turnout for Democratic convention selection. Frederick County chose six delegates and three alternates. Winchester named three delegates out of about 25 attendees. The county focus on Andy Miller highlights local campaign activity and warnings about Warner influence. Announcements included a Blue Ridge Democratic Women yard sale and a Doris Miller reception at the Farmers and Merchants Bank.
