In Winchester, dance education expands with the Campbell Studio of Dance led by Martha Campbell. From early roots with Stafford Pemberton in the 1920s to six instructors now, the town advances in ballet tap and disco. Classes began Sept. 5 and registrations remain open.

Senior Citizens Swim And Stay Fit Program Begins
Winchester Parks and Recreation offers a no fee Swim and Stay Fit for 55 and older starting Sept 12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2 to 3 pm. Tuesdays feature guided aquatic exercises then swimming. Thursdays focus on general swimming. Open swim hours at the Indoor Pool free for seniors on a trial six month basis.
