Weekend Winchester Crashes Hospitalize Four
Four people were hospitalized in Winchester area crashes over the weekend with several more injured. John Bryar, a sailor at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, is in the Winchester Memorial Hospital ICU with undetermined spinal injury. John King of Big Rapids Michigan, 20, suffered a severe leg injury and head injuries when his car on Rt 50 East collided with an unidentified car. George Rees, 20, and Adolph Shutts, 42, both of Winchester, were injured when their motorcycle went off an embankment on Rt 50.

Biting Dog Not Located Spurs New Details
The owner of the dog that bit six year old Jimmy Dick remains unfound. Carroll C. Smith of S and Construction Co reported seeing a black Maryland tagged car with two blond children in front of Ellsworth Keller’s home on National Avenue. Mrs Keller corroborated the sighting. Jimmy was bitten on the face near the left eye while pausing to pet a tan and brown cocker spaniel led by a man walking toward him near Virginia Avenue School.

White marchers clash with police after Milwaukee housing march
