Martha Fisher Dies After Illness At Winchester Hospital
Martha Fisher a 38 year old colored cook for Mr and Mrs Richard E Byrd of Amherst Street died this afternoon at Winchester Memorial Hospital after two weeks illness. She was born in Amherst County Virginia and lived with Major Joel Flood before moving to Winchester 25 years ago to serve Mrs Byrd. Her funeral is planned for tomorrow afternoon from the color church on separate obituaries street.

Auto Victim Hunter Howard Buried In Morgantown
The remains of Hunter Howard of Morgantown West Virginia killed in an September 7 automobile crash near Rochelle Illinois were buried in Mount Hebron Cemetery Winchester. Services were held in the Mortuary Chapel after arrival with relatives present. He was 28 and unmarried. Surviving are his father three sisters and a half brother County Magistrate A J Taverner.
