The Rouss Fire Co Knights of Erin Drum and Bugle Corps claimed the state junior championship at Virginia Beach during the Virginia State American Legion Convention. Sponsored by Conrad Hoover Post No 21, they earned 100 dollars and the state trophy after a 13 minute drill in the judging area. Thieves burglarized a Wilde Acres residence in Mt Falls last week, taking more than 2500 dollars in furniture appliances clothing food and other items.
