Officials theorize an ignition spark started yesterday’s blaze at Bauserman Petroleum. Fire Inspector S. R. Dyke noted damp atmospheric conditions around a truck may have trapped vapors that ignited from the spark. The bulk fuel plant was leveled and 60,000 gallons of product stored in tanks burned, with two tank trucks a panel truck a pickup and a tractor destroyed along with buildings and an office trailer.
