Motorist Charged With Manslaughter In Five Car Crash
Carl Stanley DeHaven of Norristown Pa is charged with manslaughter after a Sunday five car collision near Stephenson that killed two drivers. A preliminary hearing is set for 2 p.m. October 16. DeHaven’s car hit head on with an auto driven by Howard Neal McDaniel of Kearney New Jersey. A passenger died in each car. McDaniel remains in the hospital.

Despondent mother kills her two children jumping from window
In Boston a 28 year old Martha Fairburn tossed her sons Lance seven and David two from a fifth floor window then jumped to her death. Police said financial stress tied to her husband’s unemployment.
