Two Men Burned In Clearbrook Garage Fire
A spark from a stationary gasoline engine backfire ignited a Nash car in Stuart Whetzel's garage at Clearbrook north of Chester. Meredith Anderson sustained serious burns helping fight the blaze. Roy Boyce escaped with minor burns. The fire endangered the village and caused about 4 000 to 5 000 dollars in losses, with Delco lighting plant outbuildings burned and the scene drawing many neighbors from Winchester. Roy Boyce saved his truck after minor damage.
