Burned man seriously hurt cleaning Delco plant near Bloomery
Alstine Leith aged about 24 was badly burned on face neck body and arms last Friday while cleaning a Delco light plant at his home near Bloomery West Virginia. The funeral for Mrs. Jo sephine Farrar Arthur wife of Benjamin F. Arthur Sr prominent Frederick county farmer and fruit grower was held at Christ Episcopal Church in Winchester with Episcopal rites. She died after a heart ailment at her Northwestern grade home and was buried in Mount Hebron Cemetery. The service was led by Rev. Robert B. Nelson as friends filled the church and floral tributes surrounded the casket.

Colored Patient Dies In Hospital
Marcus Harris 42, a colored patient, died early yesterday at Memorial Hospital after an operation. He was a son of Joseph and Martha Harris born at Cedarville and worked at the Palace Theatre. She slept through the night after a Sunday illness following a dinner. Her son Charles G Miller and a maid were first alerted by a call from the housekeeper.
