Mr Lewis Pearson of this city received word from Hastings England that his father Richard Pearson died at 79. He is buried beside his oldest son in a Methodist graveyard. The death date coincides with the anniversary of a son killed in France a year ago. Survived by widow, three sons and five daughters including Lewis of this city, Richard of Philadelphia, Priest of the English Navy, Miss Annie Pearson now managing a canteen near Brighton, and daughters in Scotland and England.
