Several officers were re elected to one year terms including Bell as vice mayor J Randolph Larrick city solicitor S L Grant city manager Bernard F Groves Jr fire chief and William N Gochenour Sr fire inspector. Francis M Funk and another incumbent were re elected to the Air Pollution Commission for two year terms while a third member could not serve due to election to Council. Mayor William M Battaile was nominated for president of council for another two year term and the vote was unanimous.
