Dr E W Miller reported a Washington test confirmed the dog that bit Ellsworth Keller at 21 West Hart street last week was rabid. Keller began treatment immediately. Miller said a colored girl in the area had a dog bite abrasion and urged all dogs be confined or muzzled to curb the grave risk. Many unmuzzled dogs have been seen at large since the warning.
