Frederick A. Fawcett of Winchester died after a week of paralysis at his home near McMechen West Virginia aged 36. He will be buried in Mount Hebron Cemetery Winchester with funeral plans to be announced Monday. He was a longtime Baltimore & Ohio Railroad employee and a noted sprinter with the Friendship Fire Company. He is survived by his widow Indiana Lanham four children his mother one brother Stewart and four sisters. He held a state record for 100 yards and helped the Friendship reel team set a Carlisle world record in 1911.
