Three Hallowe'en partygoers die in Lynchburg cliff plunge
In Lynchburg Virginia three young revelers died when their car plunged 90 feet off a road cliff near Locke's mountain during a city celebration. A fourth passenger was critically ill and Mrs Paul Houston suffered multiple injuries. The victims were Robert C Floyd 25 of Lynchburg William Wallace Melrose 20 of Washington DC and Miss Virginia Campbell 18 of Lynchburg. The car on route No 60 failed a curve and was demolished.
