Virginia prepares to end Daylight Savings Time as clocks fall back one hour. Most activities revert at 2 a.m. Sunday, with buses and planes changing Saturday midnight and trains adjusting at the usual 2 a.m. Sunday.
Navy air crews from the Oriskany blasted Yen My Army barracks 24 miles southwest of Thanh Hoa with rockets and 500 pound bombs. Carrier aircraft also attacked North Vietnamese barges in the panhandle. Lt. Jeff Krall, 24, of Springfield Virginia, described hitting two 80 foot barges hidden under trees about 10 miles southwest of Thanh Hoa.
