Sudden Death On Highways Baffles Winchester Community
Six automobile accidents in and near Winchester Saturday night and Sunday left three dead and two injured. Ernest Zirkle, 9, was killed while crossing the Pughtown road. Floy Pitcock, 33, faces involuntary manslaughter charges. The Zirkle family had been visiting in Winchester when the child darted into the path of the Pitcock truck.
