John McEntee Bowman, president of the Bowman-Biltmore hotel chain, died in Post-Graduate Hospital after an operation for gallstones performed October 12. He was 56. During World War I he led the hotel restaurant dining car and steamship division of the U S Food Administration.

Youth Injured As Delivery Cycle Overturns In Accident
Maurice Foreman of Irwin Drug Store on North Braddock Street escaped serious harm when a Cammer Tire Company truck backing from its South Braddock plant struck his delivery motorcycle.
