Irvington New Jersey resident James Renner Ellsworth was detained after posing as an Internal Revenue agent at Sarah's Beauty Shopper. He tried to coerce owner Mrs. Francis Funk and shop employee Helen Newlin into buying a new tax records system costing 30 dollars.
