Villa officials claim forces captured Chihuahua City amid ongoing conflict with rival factions. The report notes a senior chief's statement and names the city as under control pending verification.

A devastating fire at St Elizabeth Hospital in Farnham Quebec early today left five children dead and fifteen missing while twenty five others were injured as patients, mostly asleep, leaped from windows to the pavement below. Police fear more lives were lost as the blaze continued at dawn with fifty patients still in the hospital.
Edgar W. Foster, convicted of killing his affinity Bertha Kubevicz and their child, was ordered to Jolie prison for life. Mrs. Foster, who shared the house, supplied funds to defend her husband and claimed her earnings.
