Four youths die after accidental rifle discharge and crash
In Rappahannock County a 23 year old Russell Fincham of Washington Virginia dies from an accidental rifle wound suffered during a hunting outing on Skyline Drive. His three companions, William Woods Virgil Updike and R C Massie, escape injury. The car crashes into a van at Gerrard and Braddock Streets as they haste to Memorial Hospital. Massie, driving, assumes responsibility for the accident and charges are withdrawn. Fincham is survived by his parents two brothers and two sisters and will be buried in Washington Virginia.
