Late yesterday afternoon a decree was entered in the Corporation Court in the case of Clara V. Fultz executrix of William Fultz deceased versus the Frederick Land Corporation and others. The demurrer by the Frederick Land Corporation Albert L. Baker and Harry Hardy is withdrawn. Objections to filings of answers by Baker and others are withdrawn. Baker’s answer was filed in open court. The Frederick Land Corporation and Harry Hardy are each given 30 days to file their answers.

James Hart known as Jack Hart of New York is found guilty of first degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment in Baltimore after a rapid trial. He sobbed in court claiming his wife influences him as he was escorted to jail.

Military Rites For Civil War Veteran George M. Freyer
The body of George M. Freyer, civil war veteran, died at his Hagerstown Maryland home last Saturday was buried with military honors in the National Cemetery yesterday afternoon. The service included firing volleys by a Virginia National Guard unit and pallbearers from the same squad. The Rev J W Gardner led home services at the Freyer residence Tuesday morning and floral tributes filled the grave.

Raid on North Charles tea room nets dozen held
Thirteen of thirty arrested last night at a North Charles street tea room appeared at the central police station before Magistrate Stanford. Of those arraigned only one was held, including Mrs. Gertrude Stokes 40 of West North Avenue and Ferdinand Piguet 27 of North Charles street. James Holmes 26 a waiter was held for U S authorities on a Volstead Act charge.
