World War II veteran found dead at Berryville camp
George Walper Ramsburg a Berryville native and U S Navy veteran was found dead in a cabin at a Winchester area camp. A 12 gauge shotgun with number 4 shot was recovered and believed used. Snake Handler's 30 Day Sentence Suspended
Judge Earl L. Abbott suspended a 30 day jail term for Marvin L. Simpson who was convicted of wounding Hite Jones by handling a poisonous snake during religious services.
