Major Alfred B. Percy 68 a Lynchburg attorney and former Virginia Zouave officer died after an operation in Mayo Clinic Rochester Minnesota. His widow took the body to Lynchburg for burial. Survived by wife Elizabeth Faulkner two sons Alfred Jr and John Tucker Percy two sisters Mary Percy and Mrs Nathan Handy. He held multiple posts including attorney for Lynchburg Retail Merchants Association director of Lynchburg National Bank and vice president of Guarantee Title and Bond Company. He served in Spanish American War and World War I and was connected with the Virginia Brigade under General Vaughan.
