A 500 acre industrial park is planned on M-1 zoned land off Welltown Pike in Frederick County owned by Lenoir City Company of Virginia led by Kenneth N Gilpin Jr. The firm Environmental Interface Charlottesville will design the park with a water and sewer line project estimated at 300000 dollars crossing Rt 37 Rt 1 and the Penn Central tracks. The plan aims for a multi use facility and Gilpin expects to present concept plans to county officials soon.
