Former National Guard and World War I veteran Leslie Earl Kidwell dies at his home in this city. Aged 39, he served with Company I on the Mexican border and in France, where he was wounded multiple times. He suffered strokes last year and this week, leaving a widow Edith Wigginton and three children. Surviving siblings and several local relatives also mourn. Funeral services will be conducted at his house by former service men tomorrow at 9 a.m. with Rev. B. Nelson in charge.
