Local youths held after fatal Winchester pike crash
Martinsburg West Virginia reports that Arthur Jenkins and Daniel Cochran of Winchester face felony charges after a late night collision on the Winchester pike killed Carroll Russler and injured Raymond Englow. Injured men were taken to City Hospital.

Funeral Services Are Held For Late Mrs Jos A Miller
The funeral of Margaret Anna Miller widow of Joseph A Miller of Frederick county was held Wednesday from the Church of the Sacred Heart where she had long been a member. A requiem mass was said by Rev Father Thmas B Martin and she was buried in a Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers included W S Cutter Robert S Smith Arthur Bayliss O L Jamison William Sullivan and John Shine. Many floral tributes were sent by friends.

Man Resisting Arrest Killed By State Police
Charles Jackson, said to be from Toledo Ohio, was fatally shot by Lt Charles Bridges of the state motor police on the steps of the State House in Indianapolis. Jackson, being taken for questioning about license plates found in a car, allegedly attempted to draw a gun. He died at a hospital about an hour later. The car carried Ohio and Indiana plates, a gun grip and a small amount of liquor.
