Six Family Members Jailed for Making Liquor in Moonshine Gulch
In New Albany Indiana on October 18 a young boy testified against his relatives over a whiskey still near French Lick. Six family members including the mother received 38 months in jail while the grandmother got a suspended 60 day term. Judge Robert Battell remarked that even a long tenure on the bench would not yield a case like this again.
