Dear Abby Times Two Lies and a Looming Wedding
Abigail Van Buren addresses three reader letters in this 1970s Dear Abby column. A wife confronts her husband's chronic lying and seeks insight, while another woman laments lack of a serious boyfriend due to meddling family, and a third unsigned letter asks if arthritis excuses handwritten notes. Abby advises honesty, personal boundaries, and professional help for a liar, and explains etiquette versus practicality for the arthritis letter. Abby also promotes a wedding booklet with ordering details.
