Welden Heads State Waltonians Reelected President
Glenn C. Welden of McLean was reelected president of the Virginia chapter of the Izaak Walton League at the state convention at the Holiday Inn East. New officers include Vivian M. Barnett Woodbridge first vice president Otey S. Haas Lynchburg second vice president Charlotte Benson Vienna secretary and Malcolm Peighter Alexandria treasurer. The officers were installed by national president J Justin Rogers of Spirit Lake Iowa. Rep John O Marsh Jr is the principal speaker at the annual dinner dance. Delegates heard a panel on The Potomac River Basin Focus on the Future with state and national conservation authorities. The program was open to the public. Tomorrow's program will feature committee reports after devotions by Dr E T Clark.
