Weekend Auto Mishaps Claim Five Casualties
Auto wrecks over the weekend killed one man and seriously injured two others when a car left the road west of White Hall rolling down an embankment. Jesse Lee Henderson 23 was killed outright. Willis Henderson 35 suffered a crushed pelvis. Miss Alice Elliott 17 had severe cuts and shock. Additional victims Henry Daugherty and young Helen Todd were hospitalized with injuries from separate crashes. Memorial Hospital staff say both survivors are expected to recover after exposure and injuries. The dead man, son of William Kemp Henderson, was a Fairfax resident visiting relatives with his uncle Willis Henderson. Funeral plans for Henderson are noted for Fairfax.
