Child’s Skull Fractured When Struck By Car
Midd Johnson Jr. nine year old son of Mr and Mrs Midd Johnson Sr of Front Royal Virginia was brought to Winchester Memorial Hospital after being struck by a passing automobile near his home. He sustained a serious skull fracture and has been unconscious since the accident. The wheel reportedly passed over the head and his condition is serious though he may recover. Man stabbed on Front Royal platform leaves 40-year-old injured
George Payne of Little Washington in Rappahannock county was stabbed in the abdomen by a youth on a Front Royal railroad platform. He was taken to Winchester Memorial Hospital where doctors fear peritonitis after a large knife pierced the abdominal wall. Payne operates the Winchester Culpeper bus route.
