Front Royal rayon plant manager Albert Raff and Union Local 371 leader CE Leadman deny reports the Artex facility will close. Raff says production is up and recalls are underway while an inflation fear about wage increases was rejected by the union.
Winchester officials Charles Zuckerman and attorney William Johnston have been named co chairmen of precincts for Democratic US Senate candidate Andrew Miller.
