He will recount twenty years at the Czarist court, exile in Siberia, a forced march of twenty five hundred miles in irons, a year in a dungeon, escape, and aid from Count Tolstoy, in a tale of tumult and loyalty.

Executor cannot act as court approves widow as executrix
The will of Dr. Alfred Jones naming his son Lyle McCop Jones as executor could not be acted on because he is in the United States Army and stationed on Long Island. Elizabeth Bryan Jones, the widow, qualified as executrix with bond set at 6000 dollars, the will written entirely by the testator. Dr. Jones served as pastor of Opequon Presbyterian Church and was highly regarded in the Valley.
