Washington reports repeal of the set aside order prohibiting packing and sale of apples smaller than 2 1 4 inches and allows No 1 apples under 2 3 1 inches. A fresh fruit ceiling goes into effect at the shipping point Oct 7 and for dealers Oct 22. Sales from Oct 7 must use the new ceiling of 2.42 dollars per 42 pound box with a 94 to 104 4 cent per pound retail ceiling. The order will be printed in the Star.

Howard M. Dancer of New York and Chicago purchases Kinlock, a 460 acre Fauquier stock farm near The Plains from Mrs. W Russell Grace.
