Mrs. James B. Wingfield and Miss Willie Sampsell report their nephew Drum Major Jackson P. Rauhof U S Marine Corps has been released from Camp No 7 at Pukokoa on the Japanese mainland. Rauhof, the first local man reported a prisoner after Corregidor fell, attended Handley High School and enlisted in the Marine Corps at 17. They had received only one message since his capture in May 1942.
