The Winchester Bus Company will begin operations on Monday December 9 with free rides on the first day. Temporary franchising allows service to Kernstown and Sunnyside until December 18 amid protest from Greyhound and Trailway. Two buses run a 30 minute loop Valley Pike to Berryville with others on 40 minute routes Fairmont to Millwood and North Loudoun to Stewart streets. Ten cent fares. school tickets 10 for 5 cents.
