Funeral services for Clarence Hardy 65 died Sunday at Hot Springs Arkansas were held at 4 pm from his home with Rev T M Swann and Rev W O Talbot officiating. Burial was in Mt Hebron. He served as a post office clerk 1897 1928 and belonged to Braddock Street Methodist and Friendship Fire Company. He is survived by his widow an uncle George Hardy and aunt Miss Alice Hardy of Winchester with many cousins. A mixed quartet sang Some Day We’ll Understand and There’s No Night There during the service. Active pallbearers were Lawrence Hollis Wilbur Johnston Ryland Conner Dr B B Dutton William March and Walter Cooper. Honorary pallbearers included M M Lynch Dr E C Stuart and others.
