R. S. Jolliffe Rites To Be Held Tomorrow
Richard Saunders Jolliffe 56 died at the Colonial Hotel on East Piccadilly after years of ill health. Born April 1 1885 at Swarthmore he lived in Winchester and Frederick County. He ran a farm and orchard and owned Opequon Lake Park, a local recreation center. A World War I veteran with Company I he later served as a first lieutenant at Fort Meade and was an early Scouter in Troop No 1.
