Winchester Youth Shot in Tea Room Hold Up
Grover J. Amick of Winchester was instantly killed in a Bladensburg Maryland tea room hold up early yesterday morning. Six patrons were wounded as bandits rifled clothing for money and jewelry. Amick, 27, had lived in Washington since 1925 and leaves a father, three sisters, and four aunts. The funeral will be held at 3 PM tomorrow at the family home with burial in Mount Hebron Cemetery.

They submitted year long investigations and observations forming the basis for the Shenandoah Cumberland Potomac district fruit spray calendar for the coming year. Plane crash at Latrobe airport claims two lives
A moonlit landing by pilot Lou Strickler at Latrobe airport ended in tragedy when the plane struck a crowd. Victims include Robert Pescatore, 24, and Phillip Duffey, 23, both of Latrobe.
