Mrs. T. E. Shoemaker aged 63 died late last night in Winchester after a long illness. She was born in Clarke county, widow of Thomas B. Shoemaker, with no children. The funeral will be held at 2 PM tomorrow from Mrs. Darlington’s home 419 North Main street. interment Mount Hebron cemetery. Rev. Dr. F. T. McFaden to officiate. pallbearers named. Also visiting relatives Martha Rush and daughter George Harden are staying with Elmer E. Rush.

Funeral services were held for Rob a G. ceae abeer assistant city, praised as one of the best in the east. Trenary A C Shonaker A H Kern John A Kiger and C Vernon Eddy. J Gibbons was the last surviving child of Mr. and Mrs. C M Gibbons. His sister Fannie Peck of Jacksonville Fla is the only other living family member, with Atlick Gibbens as a nephew.
Despite rumors no action has been taken to halt the Empire Theatre performance of White Cargo tonight. The sensational drama, praised in New York London and Chicago, opens at 8 15 with a distinguished cast. Late seating is not allowed. The troupe arrived yesterday and praised Empire Theatre. Next at the venue is Neil O Brians Minstrels, described as the greatest minstrel organization in the country.
