Fireman H A Giffin killed in wreck near Weverton Md
The Capitol Limited derailed near Weverton Maryland late Saturday afternoon killing fireman H A Giffin of Washington and badly injuring engineer A J Ross of Baltimore. Two postal clerks were slightly hurt. The wreck caused extensive damage to livestock along the eastbound route with cattle killed and horses lost. Funeral plans were set for Giffin who was not married and had brothers and sisters in several Maryland Pennsylvania communities.

Solemn Funeral Rites Held For Mrs Haymaker
Funeral rites were held for Mrs Rose E B Haymaker widow of Edward Haymaker a Winchester building contractor who died after heart trouble.
