Prospectors may not decide on the Ridgeway tract as a proposed million dollar automobile plant moves through negotiations. Local officials and developers weigh the value and impact of the site.
Martinsburg and other communities bid for the Ridgeway tract as the $10,000,000 automobile plant site. Five months of search includes Pittsburgh engineers and a plan for a factory direct sale model with a four cylinder car and on site factory viewing for customers.
Thomas H. Seabright of South Market street is slowly improving at Memorial Hospital after a leg injury from an elevator accident at the Haldeman creamery six weeks ago. An X ray followed by a successful operation has aided his recovery as friends note his condition.
Representative T. W. Harrison traveled from Washington to Virginia for a weekend at home and will return for the extra session of Congress called by President Harding. He noted the party’s strong November victory and said Democratic members were notified to attend the session.

The game is expected to be hard fought with full strength Chambersburg and determined Winchester.

John Nicholson of Nethers Mills Madison county Virginia is wanted for the shooting death of William J Corbin near Nethers Min. A $250 reward was posted. Corbin was shot in a garden near J K Weakley's home after Nicholson reportedly accused him of reporting a moonshine operation. Nicholson rode away after the shooting and may be in the Winchester area. Corbin, 50, leaves a widow and 17 children. Nicholson is about 45, six feet tall, 180 pounds with a sandy mustache, married with four children. A posse searched the area but found no clue.
