Public Safety Committee won council approval to start a paired parking trial on the east side of N Loudoun Street between Piccadilly and Boscawen Streets. The plan places two cars in one 20 foot space with an eight foot gap, then repeats to speed up parking and traffic flow in the business district. If successful the system may expand to cover more of Loudoun Street and would require moving some meters.
