Aged Woman Injured in Auto Crash in Shenandoah County
Mrs. Lucy Wightman aged 69 of Edinburg Shenandoah County was injured Friday evening when struck by Boyd Painter’s car. She suffered a broken arm and leg with cuts and bruises and is improving in Memorial Hospital. Painter aided her to a local physician. Also injured was Edward Lichliber of the Sperryville conservation camp after his car plunged over an embankment in Riverton Warren County, fracturing his skull.

James C Totty died in Dallas Texas on November 5 at about age sixty eight. He was a son of the late Mr and Mrs Thomas Totty of Winchester and left the town years ago to pursue mercantile work in Dallas where he found success. He was married and survived by his widow two brothers H Edwaty and Samuel Totty of Winchester. He was known for affable manners and for stage work in local theaters. The funeral was held in Dallas and he was interred there.
