Local veterans marked the tenth Armistice anniversary with a large parade and a dinner at the George Washington Hotel in Winchester. The program included a memorial service at Handley High School, a football game between Winchester and Charles Town, and a 9 pm Armistice day ball at the hotel led by Earl Clowser with the Shenvaleers Orchestra.
